Clarity in the Afterlife? If there IS an afterlife.

  Just a thought I had while driving home today. Not that I definitely believe in ghosts, but has anyone here had or heard of a deceased JW relative coming back and trying to warn their still living loved ones that the Cult is all a sham? You would think that if there is indeed some sort of afterlife, that once misguided JWs would have some clarity once they passed on and went to a better place. (If that IS what happens).

  I've heard/read about ghosts supposedly coming back to warn loved ones about other impending disasters and other like circumstances.

  I was just thinking back on my own mother, who was a devout JW until her death 4 years ago. Just made me wonder if she is in a better place and if she had finally figured out the truth about the Truth.

  Any thoughts?

  I always wonder the same thing. But I'm scared to ask him. My Jw days keep coming back, Satan will hear me. I actually do sense him around me sometimes. Your mom was a sweet lady.

  Low Key. Don't be so touchy. I didn't mean to step on your toes. In fact, when I get there I will let you know what the skinny is. I retract my post. It is NOT a stupid question, but rather a good question to explore the concept of afterlife and the possibility of communication fom that realm.

  Not necessarily. Say you're a half-hearted Witness. You believe the basics: no trinity, no afterlife, Armagedddon's coming any day. Now lets say your mom or dad or grandparents who were also Witnesses, die and discover there is an afterlife after all. They can't come back and warn you. Why? Because as Witnesses, you're trained to believe that it would actually be Satan or his demunz imitating your dead relatives, and you would not pay any attention to them whatsoever.

  I believe there is more to life than what we presently experience. But who know what happens exactly? We'll all find out in our own time.

  Damn people! Why does so many people here have a short fuse???? Settle down.

  Now to answer the question. If it's all a bunch of crap, then when we die, it's all over-period. No way to possibly communicate.

  If it's true, then there would be 6 million ghosts our there keeping the slaves at bay 'till the fireworks starts.
