  Good point oompa ......the reason is they have to keep readjusting themselves because they are just ignorant uneducated men , playing God

  one idiot goes out and another idiot comes in and the cycle continues.

  They are mostly concerned about trying to make themselves as if they really are guided by God

  this perpetual motion of of re-selling that idea has to continue for if the flock were to perish they would perish including all of that power

  they had acquired, in other words they are sustaining their livelihood.

  I agree with you entirely. You know another point? when you point out a jw teaching they are so adamant that it is not nor has never been a jw teaching. Then they get REALLY pissed off when you show them a quote from a wt stating such a thing! I have seen this in my jw and on the boards that discuss mainly bilblical things. Man! they get upset at finding out that there is in fact a wt quote to back up what you are saying. Of course they use the 'new light' routine. But you know, just know, that you have planted that seed even if it only lasts a few hours. A word jw's hate? current light, present truth, blinking light, etc.......

  New Light?? It was all a matter of symantics. At some point the wts had to anwer up for the discrepancies in their teachings.They even had to have NEW LIGHT on NEW LIGHT!!!!! NEW LIGHT had to be changed to BRIGHTER LIGHT. You have to remember that the wts was guided by holy spirit and thus HS could not be wrong. There never was any new light, their teachings thus had to be viewed from a slightly differant angle. Add a scripture here and there and WOW!!!! The faithful and indisrcreet slave come through for them again!

  I guess I wasn't as gullible as some. I would here my mother or sister say, "Did you hear the new light?" No, I didn't even see it coming, where did it go? Was it lightning? Lights flashing and all that crap. I had a feeling back 20 years or so ago that something was screwy. That the wts had to make things appear as though the HS had directed them to new life saving, mind enlightening information.

  It has been proven over and over again by their own writings that they are full of cow dung. I suppose that's why they are having to sell off the NY properties, there's no place left to store it. The STENCH is rising above the skyscrapers.

  You are so right on this point. If you tell a dub that for 40 years we taught Jesus had come invisibly in 1874 and that the world was to end in 1914, they think you are on LSD.

  Your examples are not what I was referring to....OTWO also, I don't think your examples are false teachings later transferred into truthful teachings.....I mean like the Mosaic Law did not change......Like Noah got directions how to build the ark, and half way through was told "Actually I told you four stories tall, but the real truth is three, so take one off"

  I suppose you could be right. Mine was an example of God LYING, the snake telling the truth,
  then God finding out his bluff was called. You could say- No teaching involved.
