I know that R.F. had violent storms and tornado warnings last night. Some shingles blew off of the roof of his house. He is OK, though.
DC has a forecast for violent storms this evening. I hope I get home before they start.

Here the tornados hit in the north and btwn Nashville and Memphis. The ones around us were close to our families. Jason had one of his drivers call in the middle of the night. A tree fell and broke her trailer in 2 pieces. She was OK, just shaken.
Where do JG and zero day live?

Here in Missouri we got the wind, hail , lightning and thunder..thankfully no damage at this end. I heard Tennessee got hit pretty hard.
I used to live in Oakridge tennessee and they had the worse storms I have ever seen. Probably because we were high on a mountain and it seemed like the lightning came in one window and out the other! The thunder was so loud you couldn't muffle it with a pillow.
We lived in a house that the government had built for the people that relocated there to work in the Mcdonnell Douglas building. It was built on stilts..I just knew I was going to be like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz and fly through the air in the house!..

Beksbks----I have been in California for 30 years and my Husband been here all his life. We don't get earthquakes,
we get little shakes. Fires we get every two years, sometimes every year.

AWAKE&WATCHING
I just read that 13 were killed in Arkansas, 7 in Tennesee and 3 in Kentucky. Tornadoes scare the crap out of me. I watched one go over my house when I was a teenager. I was sitting in the car in the driveway. Never been so scared in my life.

I'm OK, the weather here this morning was pretty intense, it reminded me of a hurricane, the wind was blowing the rain sideways. No tornado's here in Knoxville as far as I know.
