GOPHER - I agree with you. I don't want to see a Clinton dynasty either . Since Edwards quit, that's why I went Obama.
MKR - Well , Ron Paul had a lot of good ideas, however the mainstream media didn't do him any favors because his ideas were not in harmony with mainstream Republican views. The higher powers that be did Not want him to succeed- that's why he got little attention or media coverage. They considered him a threat to their power -

Once every few years, a man comes along... we all hope in this man, we hope he's pure... we only know what we read, what hope we read is true... If what we see is true in Barack, then he's one of the greatest leaders that has ever happened upon this nation... watch this viedo, what candiate has ever made you feel like this? I remember King, but JFK, comes close to this... if he ends up false, I still have faith that we as a people can overcome, if he's true to his words, then we have one hell of a leader!

Sammie did an early vote for Edwards because we wouldn't be in State for the big event - then the next day Edwards gave up the fight. It's down to Hillary or Obama now with a real slant toward Hillary. There seems to be a lot of controversy around the super delegate votes and wether or not the party will leave it up to them to vote the candidate in instead of the people. If that's the case, then I think a lot of democrats won't vote at all. I just want it to end already!!!! sammieswife.

DAWG- thanks for the u-tube guy ! Obama truly does seem to have great leadership capabilities and carries himself very well. I like his content he talks about and his confident, secure demeanor. I don't see that in Hillary . She just seems too unsteady to me to be a leader of a country. I'm all for equal rights for women , and would some day vote for a woman president - just not this woman.
SAMMIELEE- It is true, I think the democratic elections are going to go down to the wire , neck and neck horse race between Obama and Clinton ! I wanted Edwards like you too ; but when he bowed out I tried to determine which other democrat was following along his lines - personally I felt it was Obama. Should be interesting whoever wins ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper -

As long as it isn't another Republican it's gotta be good. Of course, now there is infighting amongst the Republican base over McCain getting the candidacy - seems that many of the hard core right insist he is too liberal and are now calling on the republicans to protest vote for Hillary. Duh. Then again, Ann Coulter and Rush are in that group and who'd want to be associated with that logic and line of thinking?...sammieswife.

SAMMIELEE- Personally I believe getting Hillary in as president would just be another form of getting in a Republican in Democrat's sheep's clothing. She is backed by big business , has been involved in scandalous business affairs in her past ( Whitewater ) as an example . I find it hard to trust what she really says about getting everybody health insurance . She said she'd do the same thing during her husband's presidency which lasted 8 years. If she couldn't accomplish it then - I'd be surprised if she could accomplish it now . Just my opinion

I'm feeling better about it each day, I can almost stomach the idea of McCain, but I hope and pray that he does not choose Romney, because I would be back to square one again.
