Just in, two more couples have been let go and reassigned to other states as special pioneers.
One couple transferred from Brooklyn to Walkill, been there over 20 years since 20!!!
How are they spinning this your end if you heard anything?

This letting go of dedicated Bethelites is really not too surprising given the fact the Society if selling off a lot of the buildings they had owned which
were buildings where most of them lived, they seemed to be going into a down sizing mode in Brooklyn as of past lately and outing some of the workers is just part of that .
The usual it's what Jehovah wants. There is a need in the field for more workers according to the spin.
Of course they wouldn't be directly honest and say we have an opportunity to make 10 mil. off the building you happen to be living in
When the older Bethelites die..They`re going to be used as speed bumps at Patterson....................OUTLAW
The spin I heard is: technology has caused people to be expendable. More machines=less people. Jah's organization is soooo progressive, it never stands still.
Why then does The Watchtower keep encouraging young people to "make serving at Bethel" a goal?
Someone in the writing department doesn't know what is going on?

Per the Special Pioneer couple re-assigned to our congregation...
Bethel's goal is a "younger" workforce. Apparently, they still want lots of "young blood" to enter at age 19-21....it's just that if you shouldn't plan on a "lifetime career" there. Once you present too much of a healthcare risk (age 45+) you're out the door (my thought, not the SP's).
Unless you have connections, or influence, or are an expert at brown-nosing...they'll eventually need a few GB replacements.
truthseeker, I don't suppose you know the names of those two that are leaving? pm me if you do. Thanks, -dp

I'm thinking since the Tower is a cheap pulp magazine publishing company that cares about no one other than the governing body. If they can get some young duffuses to forgo an education ,brainwash them for 10 years or so then throw them back on the street, they will have no ability or compulsion to do anything else but represent the companies interest for a very reduced rate of compensation.
So that would be a win for the tower.
The tower is a business. Business runs by creating a need and filling it.
