He is an amazing speaker, I love to listen to him. I never felt patriotic until the first time I heard him speak in '04.
As far as substance, this wasn't intended to be a detailed outline of his platform, but more of an "I have a dream" kind of speech- which does IMO have a place. His stance on all his issues is well detailed on his website though if you want them.

I think I am gettined jaded as I age......what is this guy gonna do that hasn't already been tried before? How much difference is life going to be for me? The economy drives itself and is a beast. Then you have a ridiculas congress to deal with. I think he may keep us out of wars better........................and that aint a bad thing..................oompa

I'm right there with you. I like this guy. He may be young- but he's the most inspiring thing this country has had in many years. Just a question- how's he floating with others in your area. Are white guys (and girls) in the south really going to vote for him??
Just curious. Where I'm at there's no issue. Except that Hillary is the presumed favorite.

Dawg, be careful of these orchestrated advertisements. Swelling nationalistic music in the background, hundreds of people chanting. It is just a commercial and probably a very expensive one at that.
I am fine with him as Pres but I think he would do much better as Vice Pres for one term so he knows what he's getting into.
I have listened to him a lot. He is a very compelling preacher. Something we haven't seen for a long time especially Bush who cannot speak English (His spanish is worse).
He is empowering, moving, but at the same time he is not outlining and defining his answers to the problems he is embracing.
His health care plan is lacking.
I was sorry to see Edwards go. I think he would have been okay based on his life and accomplishments.
Hillery has been" the good christian wife" and "played second fiddle" her whole adult career. All because she is a 'woman' . She may be a great surprise as President as I don't think Bill has anymore control of her than she had with Monika L. She will not be his pawn. She will not be anybodys pawn.
The last two great speakers to create a mythological kingdom were Ronald Reagon and JFK. JFK did not accomplish his goals due to his assasination. Johnson was the one to change civil rights in this country. Ronald Reagon, that ole charmer could tell you why your house needed to be burned down with your family in it so that another walmart could be built. You know what, you would agree and be the first to light the match to your home.
Beware of nationalism. I am reading Steve Hassan's book about Combatting Mind Control. Since reading that I "hear" differently then what they are saying.
