John Denver, good ole Rocky Mountain High

My first was KISS back in 1997. What a great show! Everyone walked out of there choking on gunpowder and smoke. My second was Quiet Riot. After that, I lost track. I've been to LOTS of concerts. I really prefer the ones held in a bar as opposed to a large venue. The shows are more fun in a bar.

Evidently

My first was Ted Nugent.......I snuck with a witnoid buddy, cause my elder dad would NOT have approved. The motor city madman, in a tarzan outfit.

My last was Rush, last year, twice......My next will be Rush, in April. Yeah, I got it bad.

Finally-Free

My first concert was Johnny Winter in 1973. My most recent was last night at Casinorama. I went with 3 others to see Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and followed up with some food and quality time with the slot machines.

I can't remember for sure which was first, but I think it was Bachman Turner Overdrive, but it could have been Funkadellic aka Parliment who opened for the Ohio Players.....There were only 7 of us whities there! 1974-5..........................................oompa

not counting local bands and not so rocky concerts, i think my first real good rock concert was "savatage". years later i saw them again with a different singer. if they ever tour around here again, i'll be there. they ROCK!

i've also seen toto 3 times, although i only like and know about 3 of their songs. been to megadeth, malmsteen, dio, colosseum, some ex-scorpions guys, and what not. i also went to some pop concerts... alanis morrisette, cranberries, nelly furtado... hmm i don't even remember all the gigs i went to. but nothing compares to savatage.

Tonight, I'm off to a Honeymoon Suite concert. Last time I saw them was in '01 opening for Rik Emmett, and they kick his ass.

First Rock concert was AC/DC's Blow up Your Video Tour, then the Thunderstruck tour. Next was the Rolling Stones w/Living Colour in 1989. I was 21. Since then I've seen Van Halen w/Brother Kane, The Stones w/Cuonting Crows in '93. Creed w/Saliva about a year before they broke up. I don't go to many because I live in the boonies and they are always far away.

I'm dying to see Rob Zombie and Nickelback.
