Blah! yet another holiday dreamt up by the corporate swine that people buy into. With the sole exception of christmas(and the ONLY reason I even half ass agree with that one is because I have kids now)I actually do not miss the holiday rules that the witnesses came up with. (sorry. my grumpy old man rant is over with. ) To those who do celebrate this. I hope all is well with you and yours on this fine day

yet another holiday dreamt up by the corporate swine that people buy into.
It may seem that way to a lot of guys. What they don't remember is that to some of us girls, it seems like a day where the two of you can make a point to remind each other how much you love each other. I asked for my husband to simply spend the afternoon with me this weekend for Valentine's. It doesn't necessarily cost money. I bet a lot of women would appreciate a lovely letter reminding her how much you care.
And to all who think "why buy roses? they will just die." .. Remember that to those girls who want flowers, the memories last a lifetime -- the memories are still there long after the flowers have faided. The joy she gets from being surprised at work and her friends being envious -- that makes your love stay new/fresh.
Valentine's Day can be a very special day for two who are in love. Every girl is different in what she wants but we all want to be loved. When you have someone who you love in your life, skipping the holiday can really hurt her self-esteem.
