It's an honest to God town. Goober from Andy Griffith grew up there.

We were at a birthday party for my brother-in-law's brother. I ain't kin to these people.

They even had their web address posted in WOOD! Never thought I would see Lick Skillet and dot com in the same sentence.

The band was god-awful. We were looking for ice picks to jam in our ears. Even the tequila shots didn't help.

You should take a visit to Eatonville, MS (It's exit 69 -- no kidding)

    Renee,

It was an interesting night, but I just wanted to go back home.

The people watching factor was good, but the party atmosphere was severely lacking. There was nothing you could dance to. You couldnt' even recognize the song the band was playing until they starting singing the lyrics.

Next weekend I'm staying home with my stereo.

I love towns with picturesque names.

    If only, JK!

There was some 60 year old drunk women line dancing. Does that count?

They played "Paint it Black", I told the band that was blasphemy, with a smile on my face of course. They were young guys, didn't want to hurt their feelings but they were pretty bad.

Lick Skillet? Girl, what you got going on up there?

Ever hear of Hot Coffee, Mississippi?

    Dinah,

It sounds like a scene pictured by Dante.

    Close, JK, close.

The place has no soul. Just country boys and girls getting down on the farm.

Sylvia, I kept my mouth shut so they wouldnt hang me from the nearest tree.

It could be worse, there is a State Park in Kentucky called Big Bone Lick. Use your imagination.
