Any ideas on how to reply to my old JW buddy?

  With the good advice I got here, I wound up trimming it all down. I don't bring up his faith at all. Here's the new version (minus all the how-ya-doin' stuff)

  You knew I was DF'd maybe 6-7 years ago. Well, I was reinstated 5-6 years ago. But I don't attend the kingdom hall anymore.

  I was letting a little time pass, holding out hope. But no dice.

  He replied, but he pressed the "So... are you disfellowshipped or not?" issue. He apparently didn't want the wiggle-room that my initial reply was offering. So I told him what I said in my first draft, essentially that I was told a JC would be held which I didn't attend, and that presumably an announcement was made.

  I haven't heard back. And unless he manages to claw his way out of the bOrg, I don't suppose I ever will.

  Your old buddy,needs to know if you were Disfellowshipped....Your old buddy needs to know if your worthy of his friendship....Your old buddy may have to toss you aside,if the WBT$ has no use for you.................................OUTLAW
