Stumbled upon one at a Harris Teeter here in NC. Geeze it is amazing. A buck a day...how simple. And the technology is amazing... you rent and get a receipt by e-mail right away, then you return, another e-mail... God I wished I owned a ton of stock in this company, they already have more locations than blockbuster. I know they too will be a dinosaur in a couple of years with the net giving us everything cheaper....but until then...isn't the Big Red Box awesome?.........................................................................................oompa

I saw these in OKC at Christmas. I thought the same thing, that I wanted stock. But by the time, I got to my small podunk town, I had forgotten all about them. I saw my first in Sam's. My second in front of McDonald's. I thought they were pretty cool, and cheap!!! Do they sell stock? And who services them? My husband just retired, and his occupation was something like that. Got to get him busy.

How funny Oomp, I just got off the phone with someone who told me they were looking for something in the Big Red Box in front of Mcdonalds. They love it too.

Up here, in the great white north, i have not seen any red boxes in front of the igloos, yet;-) So, i'm kinda wondering if someone could explain what it does. Thanks.

You guys still pay money to see movies? One of the greatest things about living in Canada is the laws regarding P2P technology. We are alllowed to download movies as long as we do not sell them. Just last night we watched 'American Gangster' ,not due on dvd until this coming up Tuesday the 19'th. (Bad assed movie btw.)
