"You don't think an increase in sex between couples would increase the likelihood of pregnancy? Umm, ok. It's an agree to disagree situation then."
Sero,
Of course it would increase the probability, but it wouldn't definitely mean more children. I really don't think it would be fair to assume it is the motive behind his suggestion.

I think if they were also preaching no birth control, like the Catholics did/do, then the likelyhood of trying to increase members is high. The Mormon church is an example. They preach that families should bring down as many kids from heaven as possible. And they also have people take the place of dead relatives to be baptized as Mormons.
But after 16 years I've had 4 kids, thanks to good ol' birth control. But I agree, unless you are sterile, more sex has the possiblity of more kids.
Maybe they will post the numbers of babies conceived during this experiment.

What's the name of the religion? I didn't think I would ever join another organized religion but I think I changed my mind. I want to join tomorrow. now I have to get my wife to join too.

Most people I know practice SOME form of birth control.
So more sex does not guarantee more children.
I always did say that the best pregnancy prevention is a child...
you know, always interupting...

Relevant Church is proposing a challenge encouraging married
couples to purposely engage in sexual activity for 30 days and singles to intentionally forgo sexual activity for 30 days. And then afterwards, they get together and argue about which group is in the most pain.

I'm all for it. I could have sex every day two or three times a day!
