    Great News Cognac!!!

I think this is one of the most horrific JW teachings but it's also only half-way admitted to in the publications on a regular basis. Like in this last Sunday's WT lesson. JWs are involved in a "life saving work". They don't complete the thought by saying that 6 billion will be slaughtered. I think that part makes it easier for a JW-loyal spouse to say "Well I don't think Jehovah will really do that."

Sounds like our spouses are on about the same page. I'd say my wife is currently 97% JW-loyal.

    Cognac,

As long as you have this loving relationship with your husband and both of you with God, things will work out.

Even though he is still a JW and is working toward greater responsibility in the WT, you can be assured that

everything is going to work out for your good. This is God's promise at Romans 8:28.

    Love and hugs,

    Velta

I don't care what the society says, Jehovah is loving and our loving God will judge us the way that he wants and not the societys way."

Well, you could just mention what he said to the elders and tell them you agree with it, get called into a J-C meeting and then you can both get df'd- you won't have to worry about the KH anymore. Better sooner than later, in my opinion.

I agree with Eliveleth. Having a good relationship makes your chances on this working out very good.

Its nice that he is at least listening to you way to go, eventually the intellect will reach the heart, there is allot of mental programing that you probably know

your going to have to over come , I hope things work out alright !

If your husband is insistent that God is such a fair and loving god you might want to show him this web site that paints a different picture

It is not an anti-witness site but it does have some thought provoking information http://www.evilbible.com/

    Cognac said,

I think he has... no idea that merely disagreeing with the society makes you an apostate...

This is an example of how the WTB&TS like to have their cake and eat it too.

When the Watchtower doctrines are proven to be false, inaccurate speculations, they fall back on the "We're ONLY imperfect men!" excuse, yet they REQUIRE their membership to "get in line" with the company slogans and doctrines, EVEN IF THEY ARE WRONG. There is no room for even the most civil and intellectual disagreement: it is their way or the highway. Of course, you are free to disagree as long as you keep your mouth shut.

That's why you can spell CULT "W-T-B-&-T-S"

I predict that in the not-too distant future, Cognac's hubby will have a wonderful learning experience...

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

This type of criminal behavior should shock any moral person. Murder, rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, and child abuse can not be justified by saying that some god says it’s OK. If more people would actually sit down and read the Bible there would be a lot more atheists like myself.

So he says he is a God of love for all mankind ................Really

COGNAC- It sounds like your husband loves you very much to be this understanding. He truly is letting his real " good authentic " personality shine through , and it is apparent so far he is not as " cult mind controlled " as you might have thought at the beginning of your fade . Great news sis , keep the good work up ! My wife sends her love too ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

The best line in the movie "Stephen King's 'The Mist'" :

"I believe in God, too, lady. I just don't believe he's the murdering A-Hole you make him out to be!"

He sounds like a wonderful guy. Maybe if he does become an MS he will see more of the BS behind the scene and it will push him out.

Some here really got their eyes opened when they became MS or elder.
