Ah Bourne - it's just cos ya can't wait isn't it?
As usual it will happen here in the very early hours plus it will probably be very foggy (we've had a lot of dense, freezing fog the last few days) so I won't see it.
We had one last year at an ok time of night and I watched it from start to finish, it was fantastic, well worth watching

If I get a clear sky I'll start up the outside fireplace and stretch out in a lawn chair.

Well something exciting IS HAPPENING in the sky tonight -- if you're in the right place.
Above the Twin Cities tonight, the stray satellite (the one the military will soon shoot down) will fly overhead at about quarter to 7.

I love staring into the night sky. Our nights are almost overcast. Its a real treat to see the milky way in eastern WA.
