aint that cool. One of the few things I miss about Florida. From Lantana we could see night launches from the porch.

They're probably touching down right about now, at their speed, they were probably over Lake Okeechobee 100 miles away by the time the sonic boom reached here.

Wonderful! I was listening to a radio show this morning taking the kids to school...they said if they didn't make Florida they'd touch down in California. But there would probably be a layover in Texas! ;o)

That's cool. I'm hoping to see the spy satellite tonight...just before the lunar eclipse, and less than an hour before the military shoots it down (if it's not delayed). I would love to see the shootdown but the satellite streaks across the sky for only a few minutes and then it's out of sight.

Those guys (and gals) sure go through a lot of training to be jumped up TV repairmen!
I would have loved to have been an astronaut though! I got an application from NASA years ago for pilot or crew chief and left it on my desk just to piss off my mother!
