And a book critic too. I read the book. It was fast paced, for sure. It was a page turner because you just wanted to find out what happened next. That is what I myself took from it. I have not seen the movie. I really don't care to.

The "Gospel of Mary" says that Jesus loved Mary more than any other apostles, and he was often times seen kissing her on the .....the page was disintergrated at this point...I believe he was kissing her on the mouth... if so, he was married in all likelyhood. We'll never know. The lost Gosples are worth reading, I don't think Jesus was divine anyway, so I'm sure he wanted to get his groove on like everyone else. Seems funny that those who believe inb Jesus divinity and get so pissed to think he had sex, but he most asuredly too a crap... crapping isn't very "godlike" if you ask me, but sex, that's most assuredly divine.

I read the book long before the hype, and I had a blast! It's like a trip to an amusement park, I don't need to believe, I just want the ride. I happened to have read "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" previously. I liked that too, for the first two thirds.
I've read all his other books as well, and totally enjoyed them.
