The Oracle
That picture would be very nice to hand out to any pesky JWs that you meet.
Just print it out. Actually it looks better printed in colour.

So far the replies are concise and thought provoking. We are much more than a bunch of persons gathered together for no good purpose.
does anyone know if there were heavy edits to this p. 125? Esp. regarding the 1935 gates closing and now re-opening the pearly gates for us stupid humans......gee that slave has some serious power..................................oompa
Im confused, the WTBTS says they are inspired but are "spirit directed".
But the same elders involved in this vision are the same ones directing the org today.
So....ummmm.......they aren't inspired........but the process used to write inspired scripture is being used today......and the org is the only channel........
So are they inspired or not?
No----- they do not tell the truth.

They're also not prophets, but "Gods channel of information on earth."
Chew on this...
Was the identification of the "great crowd" in 1935 such a "truth"? Well, what does it mean to be part of the "great crowd" and what were people told in 1935? The "great crowd" simply are those with an earthly hope who go through the great tribulation and survive Armageddon to everlasting life in the "new world". If you die before then, you are not part of the "great crowd". You are just among the masses of humanity to be raised during Judgment Day.
Even if a person at the time was just 10 years old, they would today be over 80 years old. So all those who in 1935 were "identified" as members of the "great crowd", think about it .... could they really have been? What kind of "truth" is that??
