JAGUAR BASS- Thanks for the kind words. It really was great re-connecting with my niece and nephew after 11 long years. I'm glad my niece isn't a " fanatical " witness ! And glad my nephew is out ! I look forward to building a relationship with them both! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

RONIN 1 - Thank you very much ! I appreciate it. I'm sure my sister will recover just fine - but it will take time . She has a lot of other health problems. But I will continue staying in touch with my niece and nephew ! I was so proud of their caring attitude toward their mother . I'm proud to be their uncle ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Wow, even when someone you obviously love has such a tough thing to go through, you manage to, once again!, post such a positive story for us.
I love reading your posts-from Sasquatch to strokes, you manage to enlighten, entertain and encourage us!
Wonderful that you got to see your niece and nephew. As sad as it is that your sister is going through this, she has loving family, and is looking at a good recovery. I hope she has someone help her deal with all the underlying issues of the stroke and its proper treatment. Sounds like your niece is made of some stern stuff! Good for her! -

So glad that you were able to spend time with your sister. I know it made her feel better. She has obviously been dealing with alot of stress.
Also glad you are now able to reconnect with niece and nephew. I was on the other side. I had little contact with my family due to being a zealous dub. Now I am trying to have a small place in their lives. Of course, they are not used to hearing from me, so it's not like we are all one big happy family.......

Im ALWAYS thrilled to hear that family members have reconnected after being ripped to SHREDS by this hateful organization! Im so happy for your reconnection! We hear way too often that shunned family members are left by themselves when they are sick because even under those circumstances the holier than thous in the borg cant be bothered to be with them so they can have a part on the next a$$-embly about how they "stayed LOYAL TO Phuckova even when their apostate family members were trying to woo them to the dark side with things like ILLNESS and DEATH." (applause applause) And sometimes family members die and the Phuckova's Witlesses dont even bother to tell their exPW family someone passed. I wish your sis a quick recovery.
So take it and run my friend. You absolutely did the right thing by taking advantage of the opportunity to speak to them. Isnt that what the Witnesses are trained to do? Take advantage of every opportune time to spew their own trash at us?
So tired of them I could spit nails still...and it's been 24 years.

JW DAUGHTER- Thanks JWDAUGHTER for your kindness . It was nice to see my niece and nephew after 11 years. And it is good that my mom and dad , although 80 and 82 years of age live close to my sister. My brother 60, and his wife 62, also live close - so I hope they help my sister out some . If you can get my brother to give up some of his notorious " elders duties " ! I think with staying at a care home involving physical therapy for a few weeks hopefully it will help her get use of that right arm back , and her speech will improve ! My niece is definitely her own person ! Which I'm glad for !
MADDIE- Thanks sis ! I hope she recovers too. It is great to see my niece and nephew again !
QUANDRY- I feel my sister had years of built up stress from her bad marriage in the 1980's. She had taken anti-depressant medication for years to deal with it, and been on lots of prescription medications from various illnesses like heart arythmyia , fybromyalgia , and other afflictions. So this stroke may have been the bursting volcano due to the pressure. I'm glad you are able to have a small place in your families lives as well, Quandry.
LOVES DUBS- I have heard that JW families sometimes won't even tell inactive or apostate family members that their JW relatives died. I think that is very cold and heartless ! I couldn't possibly bypass the opportunity to talk with my niece and nephew about what's REALLY going on in the witness organization ! You know me - ever the opportunist ! Thanks for the thoughts.
BFD- Thanks buddy for your kindness. I appreciate it. I hope my sister gradually gets healed too. She will need a lot of physical therapy to get that right arms use back and get her speech clear again. I love that niece and nephew of mine very much. I feel lucky to have them as well ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper
