New Zealand JW's had a 2.5 hour meeting on Saturday to listen to a 'special talk' via telephone link-up given by a Governing Body member. Anyone know what it was about? Was it the same as Gerrit Losch's recent Australian talk?
When I was a JW (35 years) I don't recall this ever happening before. Is this a new tactic by the GB to fire up the troops?

The next step is a giant screen with the governing body member's face taking up the whole thing. Instead of being called "brother" he'll be called "big brother."

I remember this being done a couple of times back in the 80's. it was a telephone hook up.
maybe they're testing it to see how people respond. You must remember that this is basically an advertising company throwing things against the wall to see what will stick.
