Just has to fit doesn't it sister Sylvia?... oh well, the article I saw said they weighted about the same as modern weight lifters. I have a funny story in regards to that.. I was checking out that creation museum and saw that they had the femur of a giant they had found... I was amazed until I saw that it was an "artist rendition" of a bone a man claimed to have found but had no proof of.. crap! They almost had me going there for a moment.
Burns, I know there are those that dispute the dead end theory about Neanderthals, but body size in mammals also have a correlation with brain size, the Neanderthals were larger in that they were more robust, but their brains are actually comparable in cc to modern humans. Anyway, we'll never know for a fact what these people were. Good articles about Neanderthals though. thanks. -

Actually, Neanderthals had a slightly larger brain, by several percent, than modern humans. Not sure what they did with it, but brain casts of those skulls which have been found do show this to be the case.
