I remember going to this "special" event assembly....its was right after 9/11 so everyone went....even publishers were allowed....wowwww!
It was the usually nothing-ness. I remember the whole "special" badge thing too! Actually a friend brought someone inactive...like this "special" thing would be something THAT great!
So the question being...this new one in Kitchener..will there be "special" badges again?
Would they really escort people out if they didn't have one? Wil they accept the excuse that you forgot it at home and most important....how strong will the "guards" be to keep lowly publishers out? hehe ;) -

It sounds like a major crackdown on something is in store for the witlesses in that area. Perhaps they are going to crack down on going to college. Or missing meetings. Or getting on the Internet, especially on discussion boards and MySpace. Or, maybe people are putting money in Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts that should be going into the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund instead. Or, maybe too much materialism (people need to quit their full-time window washing job and just wash windows part time). Or, the high price of gas is starting to affect what people are doing in field circus.
In any event, I am glad I am not there.

What is a Zone Overseer? I've heard of Circuit and District Overseers (or are they Servants? Its been a while). The word zone is an odd one to use. It brings to mind terms like free-fire zone, de-militarized zone, and twilight zone.

What is a Zone Overseer?
It is the title given to a GB appointed representative who visits branches.
Sometimes it is a GB member or it can be someone on the branch committee of one country who visits other countries.
It is not a permanent title, he is just a zone overseer when doing that particular job.
