  My mother in law actually throws fits and cusses like a mexican street walker. Once she hit my wife when I was out of town.

  I totally believe you. My mother was very abusive to us as kids, and to her own mother. My sis was a mess emotionally and my mom ended up keeping my niece for about 3 years. She abused her during that time bad enough that my niece started "cutting" herself at the KH. My mother drank 16 oz cans of Schiltz Malt Liquor Bull. Believe it. She cursed at her mother and us.

  But at the KH butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. It is mind-boggling and soooooo frustrating when no one will believe you, and you feel as if there's nothing you can do. You feel like you are in some kind of Twilight Zone repeat.

  my niece started "cutting" herself at the KH.

  My niece also cuts herself. from the therapy she has received so far it is apparently tied to the sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of her filthy father. May he suffer forever.....

She went after her and yanked hetr out of the bed and started to slap her. Then she went and called the cops on her so they could throw her out. When the cops came they threatened to take my mil to jail. My wife should have pressed the charge. Her dad said he would have backed her up on it.

  Holy Christ! I've been reading your story ToH and I am stunned and disgusted at your mother in law-----but not really surprised. Yes it sounds to me like she's trying to hurry your FIL into the grave so she can inherit his money. My own opinion is that you should speak to a lawyer about the situation to see what it would take to change his Will so that she doesn't get ANYTHING. Rotten bitch.

  I don't understand why your wife didn't press charges against this witch------that almost certainly would have made the police stand up and take notice of her treatment of her husband. Is there any way you could set up a hidden camera at their place to catch her in action?

  Of course my reaction would be to pay someone to break her legs.
