Anyone who knows any articles in the WT litterature that explains WHY members who were disfellowshipped for not accepting a doctrine, not automatically becomes reinstated when "new light" confirms that the WT now accept the doctrine which the person was df:ed for in the first place? (long sentence, but i think you get my point.....)

No I don't have the littera-trash, but I believe it is for not following and obeying the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger. You did the "offense" or taught a teaching that was not in line with then-current teachings, which was against the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger at that time. Then, when the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger finally comes around, you may well be doctrinally compliant now. However, you did not obey the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger.

I started reading C of C and it made me think of that too. I am early in the book but I am at the point where the GB's decided that they could control what a husband and wife do in the privacy of their own bed. I was disgusted at the power those "brothers" think they have. They arbitrarily make a ruling... "You cannot do this... blah blah blah... the poor JW's fear that they will perish if they don't stop what they were just told to stop.... It caused such heart ache.... disfellowshipping.... marriage break ups, etc... Then 5 years later a "new light" happens and they change the rules. What about all thos poor JW's that divorced... were disfellowshipped....etc... I think the stupid GB should be disfellowshipped... LOL.

You don't get DF for being "wrong" about a teaching. You get DF for breaking the "unity" of the congregation. When you are justified in your thinking, you still have been guilty of the unity thing. I don't know where to find this in writing.

Ditto. You can have any old opinion you want - the only problem comes when you start talking about it to other people. Then you are charged with "running ahead of the organization", "causing divisions", etc., and if you don't turn on the tear ducts in the JC meeting, out you go.

If a teaching is later corrected if the light gets brighter, it doesn't matter. The problem was your attitude, not your beliefs, and the elders will want to see "works befitting repentence" (groveling) before letting you back in.

Don't you think that if you are "wrong about a teaching" and you are the teacher, you are "breaking the unity of the congregations"?

i thought it was just believing something other than the GB taught would get you DF'd? I think that even if you stay quiet and keep to yourself, you will still get in trouble. can someone correct me on this?

Not if every other teacher in the organization is teaching the same (wrong) thing.

In the Orwellian world of JWs, "being united" is far, far more important than "being right".

How? The elders can't read your mind!

Of course, some have a harder time than others at keeping their thoughts to themselves!

Good question, and I have been wanting to find this as well. The reasoning is that you get disfellowshipped for having a wrong attitude towards Jehovah's organization, not for the specific doctrine as such, but I can not find it in writing yet.
