Do you think long and hard before deciding on a course of action or are you impulsive???/

Well..it depends. If it involves just myself and it's minor (like with shopping or something trival) I can be impulsive.

If it involves my family, money, time, effort...I usually make those decisions with my husband.

Wow, Minimus...this is a great question. I had to stop and think about my decision-making processes and

I guess I am all of the emoticons above. Sometimes this, sometimes that, sometimes up, sometimes down.

I'm impulsive at times, and then (according to my hubby) it takes me forever and a day to make a decision.

Sometimes I think it's plain, good, old fashioned stupidity.

When it comes to life important decisions, I prefer to think long and hard. Nothing "fun" is worth feeling the ill effects later.

When making a decision on a purchase, I'll check reviews from Consumer Reports and other sources. I'd rather spend more $$ on a quality product than less $$ on a piece of junk.

Of course, there have been times when I bought products that were supposedly better only to have them break down anyway. One company couldn't honour their warranty because they were under bankruptcy protection.

    Somethings are impulsive, Food.

Somethings I think long and hard about. Investments.

My natural tendency throughout most of my life has been to act impulsively and think about the consequences after. Then I got older and a little wiser ( the hard way), so now I try to discipline myself to think about the possible consequences before I act.
