I don't know if anyone else here buys or sells on ebay. I'm thiking some do. Ebay has announced dramatic new policy changes to begin in May 2008 which spell disaster for many honest and ethical sellers and buyers such as myself who have given their blood, sweat and tears to make Ebay what it is today. Sellers are not happy nor buyers this affects us one and all. Among the changes announced Ebay raised sellers fees almost 100% which in return a portion must be transferred to the buyer which is not fair to them. Paypal and Ebay will then hold a buyers money for 21 days before the seller see & posts anything for the sale, which in return means slower shipping of the product purchased. Sellers will no longer be able to post anything but positive feedback for the buyer not even if the purchaser was running a scam and the seller is out money, Ebay does not care! Ebay interest is in the corporate giant buying and selling alike. You will soon be paying triple the shipping charges as you are paying now if Ebay wins this battle. Ebay has been in news forums and sites this weekend for padding auction counts in the U.S. and International sites in order to raise the all time low stock market prices they are battling which is unlawful to say the very least. Many news site's are comparing Ebay to Enron. Thousands of sellers and buyers have banned together over this greed displayed on Ebay's part and we are asking you to PLEASE join us in an open ended date WORLDWIDE Ebay Boycott May 1, 2008 & beyond. NO BUYING NO SELLING NO EBAYING! Please help us to help you and support this historical movement against Ebay. We will make history and we want everyone to be a part of it.

C'mon people, escaping the WTS should make you LESS gullible. The exclamation points, poor grammar, bizarre comparison (EBay compared to Enron?? How??), and overall panicky personality make me believe that the whole thing is probably made up or at least severely exaggerated.

It just plays on the victim mentality of people who are prone to believe that every large corporation is evil and out to get you.

Let me just say I have NOT looked into the allegations made... frankly I don't see a need to. From a business perspective, I find it highly unlikely that EBay would institute the policies described.

Also... the internal logic of the complaint is invalid. It is NOT SPAM, I am an Ebay seller, and you should google "Ebay boycott", or "Ebay fee increase", or anything of the like. Go to Delphi forums and see. Ebay spin doctors say one thing publicly, but it is not what they are doing. They have a monopoly with their owing Pay Pal as well.

You are rude! I thought people that left the jws sought out information for themselves before jumping to a wrong conclusion. When in doubt, seek the information before accusing please.
