Postcard Marketing Knocking to JWs: "Governing Body Approved Interviews"

As was noted, the postcard said the Watchtower Society received no money from the Knocking project. Still, all the early hype for Knocking being "fair" and "objective" is contradicted, I think, by this postcard. Knocking does mention both sides, but it's slant is clearly sympathetic to the JWs which is why they can market it like this to JWs.

Perhaps someday someone will do a documentary on JWs like the recent PBS one on Miormons.

Sooooo... how does the 'average' JW feel about this 'documentary'? Are the JWs - in general - favorable towards it?

I ask this because... if I recall correctly - they (JWs) seem to have a 'we don't believe anything that the media says' approach to any negative press. But positive press?

Remember the documentary "Purple Triangles" about the Nazi persecution? That was made by the media, the society bought the rights and distributed the DVD like one of their own. Does that answer your question?

out this homo director to the gay community that he's in bed with an organization that can't wait until god murders all the homosexuals on the earth.<p>

at least get him shunned from a community he is a part of so he'll have no option of good sex again since they'll know he's worse than trying to show victims of the holocaust that hilter wasn't really that bad of a guy.

I remember that, I watched a VHS copy of it, the cassette itself was Watchtower branded by the documentary was produced by the BBC as I re-call.

Their "we don't listen to the mass media" crap only applies to negative publicity. Hyprocrites.
