Its a great concept but magnets have a power which reduces with time and especially when power conversion is taking place!
Maybe the efficiency of it is frictionless and so more efficient, but unless one can draw off the magetic force which points compass needles, it will be more a case of input and output! IMO

My son was talking about this the other day. He's been studying it, and also is about to take a job in Fla working with solar energy. I just hope this guy stays alive long enough to get these to the masses. And not have it fall into the governments hands.

This is a hoax, it's scientifically impossible that it could work, it violates the first and second laws of thermodynamics.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, and in a closed system, the amount of usable energy will always decrease. So just follow the energy in this thing, where is the energy coming from?

A company in Ireland called Steorn claims to have developed this technology a couple years ago.
They have yet to give a public demonstration of it though.
