I assume that you weren't a JW in the early 70s. I was young, but I remember it. "Stay alive until '75" that's what one of our COs said too.
There were no websites in the late 60s or early 70s. There was no Internet. I'm amazed that the recording was spared and survives today.
"Prove it?" I lived through it. Research it yourself if you don't believe us. The 1968 WT bound volume stirred up the 1975 excitement. Start there.
Do you remember the 80s? Then it was "this generation" that stirred the speculative excitement.
Need more proof that the WT are experts at changing their tune mid-symphony?
I served in Bethel for over a decade. There's plenty more they're trying to hide... trust me.
