I appreciate what you're saying but unfortunately there isn't really sufficient media interest yet and that would be the most effective way of being heard. My hope is that the negative press scientology is attracting will bring all cults under closer scrutiny.
Remember - living well is the best revenge.
That is what is happening on the Internet. People are going to look them up before committing, and they are going to be disinterested in studying when they find out that it is a scam.
Escaped-- Some day I plan to drag the WT Society into the media spotlight. I will look for every opportunity falling my way to expose them. Right now I have kinda slacked off, but someday in the future I will hit them like a ton of bricks and expose their deceitfulness and their child/family wrecking ways.

Welcome "escaped: - your statement is true - the rest of the world has no idea what they do.. However, have you ever thought that the most powerful thing that you can do is have a meaningful, rewarding existence despite their wishes? Best of luck to ya... this is a great place - don't know where I would be without it.
Escaped, I empathise with you. If you stick around here for a while you'll see that there are many people like yourself who have had bad experiences with the WT, and are now trying to piece their lives back together, and so you may take comfort in this. There are so many unique people with unique experiences, you'll see that every one has got their own 'story' to tell. It can be very theraputical at times listening to what the JWD board members have to say.

Escaped....you are very welcome in our realm. If you've been watching us, then you know who we are. For the most part we are one and the same. We all bear scars of deeply inflicted wounds, some heal others do not. I do hope that you find your healing with us.

I appreciate all of the support and comments from you all! I feel so frustrated that this group has the absolute power to alter and devastate. It helps to read this board but I also come to tears everytime I read a sad story. I will take the advice of living well but I still feel the after-affects of this earthquake. But....thanks so much for listening!
