The response was quite interesting, and that's all I will say....
they talked around it and didn't dismiss it totally.
These are NASA scientists here. They are scientists, whose job is to study and
theorize about space. Of COURSE they are going to be interested in the idea
of life on other planets, and of course they are going to find it enjoyable
standing around making clever but wild speculations about the edge of the
possibilities of their trade, just like any other group of curious professional
humans.
I don't see why this implies at all a "we know something we are not saying"
situation. I find it far more likely such an impression is superimposed on the
situation by someone who for some reason wants these absurd claims of alien
visits to be true.
I have a hard time taking this conversation seriously, mostly because of the evasive
conspiracy theory tone.
I highly recommend the book "Demon Haunted World" by Carl Sagan. It is a wonderful
open-minded reality check to the modern day myth of alien interference into humans
affairs.
I really believe ancient Egyptians had contact with other beings on a regular basis. Why I do not know.
What is the basis of this belief? What evidence can you present?
To me, this feels rather like a mind that is still working with a religious operating system
encountering and attempting to process facts of science and history.
I would venture that a healthy dose of skepticism is in order.
