Because Church leadership sent down lawyers from Brooklyn trying to defend their right for clergy client privileges. Several Elders have been disfellowshipped for going against the GB and speaking to authorities. Maybe you aren't aware of this".

It's sad that JWs don't realize that if the WTS actually WAS directed by Jehovah, these abuses would be dealt with the harshest discipline; even by insisting that authorities put these sickos in jail.

I have always noticed one thing that is lacking in the regard to jw's molesting children and being found out. The society has ALWAYS pointed the finger at some transgressor in the cong and said, " What about the reproach you bring upon jehovah's NAME."
NO WHERE am I seeing such a statement about the pedophiles and the society's covering up for them. Now, really, I could care less any more about the society and what god any one believes in, I am that jaded and indifferant.
I am just looking at it from where any jw should be siding, THE NAME!!! And they don't.
