How do any of you know what the WTBTS has on their database?
Is it public knowledge?
Can anyone access this info?
Are you guessing at the number 23K?
I don't want to argue ... just want to know where and how you come across these numbers.

Exactly. Going to a kingdom hall and reading the bible is what's required for one to be considered open-minded. At the kingdom hall they teach you to have an open mind and not judge others who think differently.

No one seems to know how you access the WTBTS's database (i.e. 23K).
dawg ... your 'email from a JW ' is a little off, to say the least.
Can't remember too many JW's mentioning "Falling short of the glory of God".
Can't remember too many talk about 'handing out' anything. They place literature.
Either (a) you made it all up or (b) found someone who is very new to the truth.

I believe this number was disclosed by Barbara Anderson who was a bethelite for many years and worked with information and data gathering. She was the actual writer for a couple of articles published by the WTS.

My mistake. The number apparently originated with Bill Bowen creator of SilentLambs.com.

The 23 thousand cases recorded in Bethel is reported by Barbara Anderson, who worked in Bethel for many years, and had first hand knowledge of the problem.
There are dozens of threads discussing the cover ups and conflicts in Bethel about this. Barbara left because she could no longer go along with such behavior on the part of those claiming to be God's sole annointed channel on earth.
I have been sitting in Kingdumb Hells for forty years. Romans 3: 23 was frequently quoted "all men have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
As for the "placement " of litterature, I have heard many witlesses say they gave away a magazine. I sometimes remarked that I had managed to "GET RID" of all my magazines, even when I really believed in it all.
Most of the comments in the email I can back up from my own experience. He is wasting his time though because the JW is taught not to listen, or nit-pick what is in front of them, or find fault with the person saying it.
The WTBTS distributed a tract last year (rumored by some to be the provocation for the attack of Gog and beginning of the GT) They condemned other churches for covering up child abuse, and said they were disapproved by God.
JR Brown's defence of the WT position is very revealing: the situation with regard to child abuse is "NO WORSE than in other churches." Does this mean they get the same disapproval spoken of in their tract? Of course not! "the temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah it is."
