"We are not like those of the world!"

    He's right.

JW's are worse than those of the world.

This reminds me of the time when I was a teenager and asked my Dad the Elder, why I always had to wear a dress or skirt a particular length and why men always has to wear suits and he replied that we are showing we are not worldly. I then said but the Kray Twins always wore suits, in fact they made a point of looking 'smart' and they were some of the worst gangsters the East End of London knew. Dad went red and walked out the room so that was the end of the conversation. It was then I knew how stupid the whole worldy thing was....

The WTS concentrates on outward appearance. Jesus followers would not be identified by their hair length, beard, skirth length too short by one inch, slits to the knee, women wearing makeup or too much makeup (whatever that is), while at the same time jws are gossiping nastily about each other, speculating that some are committing sins, not doing enough to please God, have too many things, and even making up things when the day is slow.

"If Jehovah was looking at you could He tell the difference between you and a wordly youth?"

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

I find a lot of good in some of the teachings of the jw but they seem to miss the main points of the Bible. I believe a christian should be separate from the world but our commission is to help others to know and learn about Jesus. Not allowing jw children to have relationships with "worldly" kids is not useful. The jw kids end up doing worst than most kids anyway probably because of the rope wrapped around their necks. I must say there are some kids i dont want my kids hanging around but i have one kid that does exactly what i tell her not to do. I feel bad when i think about how mean i use to be to my kids at the hall. Making them sit still for all that time is not normal for young children. I thought i was doing the right thing. Now the church i go to has nursery's for the children and classrooms for the toddlers where they learn about Jesus on their level. This is wonderful and to see how the youth are flourishing in the church is also a blessing.Nothing is perfect but it dont hurt to try.

So to those of you that are still in Babalonia i urge you to "Get out of her" soon she will perish. why spend another moment there when God is in many places.
