I work for a car company- my plant makes automatic transmissions for about $250 each- total cost. However, if your tranny goes out in your car your local dealer will charge you about $3000 to install a new one. I think that all car companies have this kind of markup.

Hi Hortensia, I've got a new grandaughter due to arrive April 11, but it seems she may come early. So I'll let you know. This time I have a great therapist and she has really helped me. Not interesting, but good news.

Here's some irony for you. I work as an emergency roadside service customer advocate in a call center. All day long I take calls from people who've left their lights on and need a jump start. Guess who needed one today, but doesn't have a membership for AAA? Moi. But a fella who works there very kindly gave me a jumpstart. That inspired me to come home and repair my biddy booster cables.
