I tried this youtube test and I could hear up to 13 khz

With the volume up LOUD, I could hear the 14 khz tone and with the sound REALLY BLASING I could hear the 15 khz !!!
This is the best test I've found.

Oh, actually I hear like a little tiny noise (like a static) on your first reference, but I was thinking it was a bizzz, bizzzz, bizzzzz sound.
