Aww, Mincan, those are only character creases. Stay off meth and you won't see real wrinkles until you get into your later forties. I dedicate this to you, Minc. My brother showed this song to me when I was probably 13 or so. He would have been 18. He never made it to 30. He died at 22 on April 3rd, 1976.

Robyn, you are aging very gracefully. Good kissing? Why do the good kissers always seem to be the ones with the biggest troubles?

I dedicate this song to all of us, young and old who must face the inevitability of growing old and dying:

    Fleetwood Mac's Landslidehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3cGxlZjMWU

A highlight: But time made you bolder
    even children get older
    Im getting older too

(Weird thing about this song, I was 17 when it hit. My bible study teacher, Karen 19, loved this song dearly. That was 1976, the year my brother died)

I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
till the landslide brought me down

    Oh, mirror in the sky
    What is love
Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail thru the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the seasons of my life

Well, Ive been afraid of changing
cause Ive built my life around you
    But time made you bolder
    Even children get older
    Im getting older too

Oh, take my love, take it down
Climb a mountain and turn around
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down

If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well maybe the landslide will bring it down

(((FHN))), "Lather" is my favorite Jefferson Airplane song. Your brother had good taste.

Thank you, Robyn. I miss him terribly. He was the glue that held the six of us siblings together. He was the oldest boy and second oldest child.

    Hi FHN,

I am a little older than you -51 and i am still a big kid in some ways and mature in others. Like many here my private life has beem a little complex since leaving the borg. How come i still feel like a teeenager when i get hurt?

I lost my brother 15 y ago, my only other sibling he would be 50 now. That for me was hugely life changing thing.

I want to do so many things and am doing many - went to New York at easter which i loved.

The thought of getting older does concern me and motivate me as do my children

And yes it is a nuisance to have reading glasses

    Regards David

So far, so good. I feel that the physical breakdown is more than reimbursed by the knowledge acquired. I would never trade in self-confidence and comfort in my own skin for a youthful appearance. Maybe for freedom from aches and pains, but never appearance. JK

Well I'm turning 32 very soon. Honestly never thought I'd reach this age. I don't feel older than 25. I've still got a hellofa lot of growing up to do - my little motto is ""when I buy a washing machine, I'll be a fully fledged adult" I still don't have a washing machine.

Phycially I haven't felt any slowing down - aparently you're phyiscally peak in the 30s - you're stronger.

I've got a few grey hairs here and there but they don't bother me.

As for the future - hmmm would still like to find somebody to love - haven't found that person yet. I'm looking after myself now so that when I'm older I'll be in okay shape. Financially I have 3 policies that I'm contributing too that mature at 10 year intervals starting at 45. I'm getting a 4th - so I'm alright on that front.

I plan to be an active lil ol lady with many funny stories to share.
