since there isn't an "other" forum.

My hubby is a die-hard regular razor kinda guy. I want to buy him a nice electric (or cordless) shaver for Christmas (help cut his shave time in half). I went to Consumer Reports to see what they said - and they haven't reviewed it.

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Pros - Cons????

    Thanks,

    closer

    g'day closer,

You planning on denying your man the intimate sensual thrill of lathering up and shaving away natures daily reminder of his manhood .. the ever growing folic symbol of his surging masculinity?

mmm .. never used an electric defoliator myself but i heard the philips triple whirling undercutters are good.

cut throat unclebruce, whose just grown a beard and would probably need the brush cutter 3000.

closer, it's gonna depend on what kind of shave he likes.

If he likes it really smooth a razor is the way to go.
An electric will make him look nice, ie no stubble or shadow, but it won't feel as smooth as a razor shave.

Norelco and Remington are both decent brands if you still want to go that way.

    Closer,

    I’m with openminded.

I owned a Braun for many years (lost it in a move). It worked like a charm. The recharge lasted a week or more. I shaved on the way to work with a dry face. I highly recommend it.

That one that cleans itself looks good. I always hated cleaning mine (back to razor and bits of tissue paper to stop the bleeding for now )

I bought my husband a Norelco ... I can't remeber the style but it is the kind that dispenses lotion and is waterproof. It is dark blue .... He loves it ...... clean shaves and no iritation.

I've heard Norelco is really good - the kind Bobsgirl mentioned. It's really gross watching the lotion coming out of it though. Kind of like...oh, nevermind.
