...all the people arrested for "perverting the course of justice" were JW's too. One was Bob Bill's daughter-in-law, who happens to be the daughter of the P.O from the neighboring cong. The elders are really worried about how this will play in the press when it goes to court.
Sad that supposed loving "brothers & sisters" helped cover this up....I'm happy they are being charged.
Themore these cases get reported the harder it will be for the WTS and JWs to ignore the problem.
But then the mentality "Oh that couldn't happen here" will still exist. The WTS has things nicely wrapped up by the statement of "isolated incidents".
The only way for JWs to find out how often this hapopens is to get on sites like this that are veyr open to exposing the huge dirt pile that lies under the carpet
