Nigerian scammers are getting hilariously sloppy

Here is part of a scam e-mail delivered to my junk folder (I glance thru it every so often for kicks).

I highlighted the parts I found especially goofy:

We found your name in our list and that is why we are contacting you,  
and we are happy to announce to you that every necessary legal
arrangement regarding to your compensation has been signed and sealed.
 
This is to inform you that a woman of 5.9 inches tall, with Log hair
and white in colour from the united states of America came to our office
today claiming to be from you, stating that you are dead but before your
abrupt death you made him your representative and authorized him as  
your legal beneficiary to claim your atm card/fund valued us$5.5m only  
from this reputable commission.
 
Now here comes the big question, did you sign any dead of assignment in
favor of this woman, thereby making she the current beneficiary with his
following contact details: please let us know also if you are aware that
we are almost ready to transfer part payment of $5.5m usd of your
outstanding funds to her nominated bank

I want to meet this short transvestite with wooden hair

to find out how she got my dead of assignment!

So they`re writing to a dead guy..About another guy dressed as a woman..

So the dead guy can collect 5.5 million dollars..And..They`re waiting for an answer from the Dead guy..

Did any of them figure out it might be a long wait for an answer?!..LOL!!

I'm still waiting to hear from the guy from Nigeria who I sent $10,000 in good faith and set up a bank account for him to transfer his inheritance to. He said I will get 15% of his inheritance of three million dollars.

I haven't heard from him and I'm still waiting to see the money hit my bank account.

They piss me off. They're worse than bank robbers. At least bank robbers go out and face danger and take risks. These low-life, half-literate punks sit at desks and try to think of ways to steal other people's money.

Earlier this week I received a request to connect through Skype. Since I work with international students, I generally accept these unsolicited invitation. The next minute I get an international Skype video call from who knows where - Probably Nigeria - from a young man with no shirt and in his underwear trying to convince me that he needed my bank account information so he could transfer millions of dollars to me.

The sales pitch was unconvincing and I immediately blocked him. But my experience falls in line with your story. These people just don't even try to be convincing.

I received a scam email from a "Mrs Gadaffi" saying she wanted to transfer millions of dollars from her late husband's bank account, within just 10 minutes of his death being publicised! Can anyone beat that for speed?

I used to work at Morgan Stanley, in the Legal Dept, they had a small group of folks actually devoted to Nigerian scams. I guess on the corporate level they're a bit more "professional" in their scamming or Morgan is just an ass backward financial firm, (guess which one I think it is)
