The best way to uninstall this virus is with another program. And mine is far simpler.
Morals: Any volitional action that is good for the individual or society is morally proper and good. Any volitional action that is bad for the individual or society is morally bad. That code replaces thousands of false and bogus rules from the Washtowels.
Rules: No one should initiate the use of force, threat of force, coercion, or fraud against another person or their property. Force is morally and justifiably used only in defense against those that violate this prime rule.
The more you consciously try to apply and live by this simple code, the more the Washtowel doctrine is going to fade. You may have to deliberately apply the above code with the same determination you had to with Washtowel doctrine at first, but it will be a shorter time before you are able to do it (though the guilt from the Washtowel will linger for some). And, you will not be causing damage, sacrificing to some "higher cause", or impeding free thinking in applying these very basic rules.
And yes, you will still make stupid mistakes. You will still make volitional decisions that are bad for self or society, but they will be learning mistakes or out of force of habit. Those indoctrinated with Washtowel doctrine will need to get out of the habit of feeling guilty for breaking Washtowel doctrine, at least for a while. However, after a time, you will feel set free.
