Yeah, a little. I am getting a job I think, if anyone hires me. The bills are a little higher, gas was $300 last month. Food is getting higher, and gas. It cost me $75 to fill my truck. So we will probably make a few spending habit changes and be OK. I'm not drinking Crown like it's water anymore, so that saves quite a bit. And I'd like to get a car with better gas mileage.

I haven't noticed too many hardships in my financial life--yet. I pedal right by those gas pumps, so I am not affected in that way by high gas prices. Food is moderate, too. When I have to start paying $500 a month for internet access and $200 a month for Rhapsody, then I will start having trouble.

And I am not going to fall for the Washtowel campaign about the economy being a sign from God to go back to the Washtowel Slaveholdery. If I did that, then real money problems would begin. Money for rides. Money for suit dry cleanings. Money for field circus supplies. Money to keep replacing things that I "should have known were inappropriate" that I had just bought a month ago because they were then the rules. Money for the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund. Money for contributing for gas for field circus. Money for items at Starbucks (and, of course, leave the cute girls that are running the place the fxxx alone, because they are worldly people that are only going to die). The list is endless.

As I see it, it could be much worse.

Since 2000 my income has gone up almsot $34k a year. Those college degrees really do pay off. Company car that pays for gas and I usually get to work from home to avoid going into the office to work. Despite that I realize my job could vanish at any time and I live frugally. I live more cheaply now than I did when I had less money.

I work for a bankruptcy attorney. We haven't had this much business in a long time. Everyday I speak to people who are very frightened.

We started noticing a 50 percent increase in business this time last year. We knew something bad was starting to happen with the economy, especially the housing market. Of course, the media hacks were denying that there was anything out of the ordinary going on.

I've had to cut way back on my contributions to the Worldwide Work and the local K Hall expenses.

I think everyone is feeling the crunch, people are being laid off in the thousands in different industries. The cost to gas up your car is ridiculous and it is going to get higher. Someone said they think it was about erasing the middle class and I think that is right on target.

It's not that prices are going up ... THE DOLLAR IS BEING DEVALUATED ON PURPOSE!!! WORTH .5 CENTS COMPARED TO 1913 WHEN IT WAS WORTH $1.00!
