  Three things-

  1. Reduction of District Conventions to 2-days, and possibly reduction of Circuit Assemblies to
  twice-a-year as 1-day events, instead of the current 2-day Circuit and the Spec. Assembly 1-day
  event. This would save the Borg money on renting facilities and they would hope to fleece just
  as much out of the flock and say it was a thing to do to reduce anxiety on the stressed members
  in these last days. Reduction of the Circuit Assemblies would allow them to sell some of the
  facilities in areas where the English are reducing numbers, and just let the dubs drive further.

  2. Further reduction in production of literature. They might have releases available at the DC
  only. If you don't go, you won't get the new brochure or book. It will never be offered outside of
  the convention. The only ones who contribute for the books are the dubs at the convention, anyway.

  3. Goodbye to AWAKE! magazine. "Jehovah blessed us for many years, but we will put everything
  you need in the WT mag. to further increase the time spent reading the Bible."

  The new release of Governing Body trading cards ! They'll come in a baseball card like pack but without the stick of gum because you disobedient bastards aren't supposed to be chewing gum in the Hall anyway.

  Each card will contain information about an individual GB member along with fascinating statistics, such as: lifetime magazine placements, field service hours,how many times they've worn the same pair of socks,etc.Check with your local Literature Servant so as to not miss out on this valuable opportunity !

  I really think we will be seeing 2 day conventions. Nobody ever thought they would be getting rid of the Book Study but now it has been hacked down to just another small boring part at the kingdom hall.

  I'm going to dream (here's my feeble attempt at being in the writing department):

  Watchtower October 15, 2008: Blood - A Christian to Decide

  Some Christians may reject all blood, for the Bible says to "Abstain from blood".

  Other Christians may decide to take fractions, such as snake bite serums, tetanus shots, immunoglobulins, Factor VIII, and hemoglobin. These Christians may not view these injections as so minute as to keep within Jehovah's commandment.

  Still, other Christians may choose to accept all blood and blood products. These Christians may reason that the scriptures in Genesis command that Jehovah's ultimate wish is to respect life. These Christians will see that the soldiers in Samual were not instantly killed by Jehovah, but Jehovah was most forgiving and kind. Jehovah saw the extra-ordinary plight these soldiers were in, and understood their inate wish to remain alive. These Christians may decide to follow Jesus words found at Matthew 15: 10-11, "Listen and understand. What goes into the mouth does not make you unclean. It is what comes out of the mouth that makes you unclean." Further, these Christians will look to Jehovah's creations. Lovingly, Jehovah has provided for many forms of blood transfusion in the natural world. From twins in uterus, to the mother-fetus arrangement, to the common, yet bothersome mosquito, Jehovah's natural order shows that blood transfusions can occur. Yet, these Christians will be ever mindful of the medical dangers, talking in advance with their medical doctors about the risks and benefits of such a course of action.

  Fellow Christians should respect another Christian's decision. For we see in Samual, the issue of eating blood is a matter between man and Jehovah. Jehovah will be the ultimate decider at the Great Tribulation."
