Funny how the Mayans talk of five ages of men, Daniel speaks of an image with four parts, Hesiods five ages, Vedic religion of four ages, Hopi and the Five ages, etc. All very interesting in that they all speak of man currently being in the last age.
What is even more remarkable is that Nostradomus, within his writings, describes the solar meridian crossing the galactic equator as being part of he last days, coupled with solar and lunar eclipses. Are all of these pure coincidence?
The Mayans believed that their god Kulkulcan would return during this time, as our galacy passed by the Dark Rift - a place housed of demons. Is the end coming, who knows. What I do find interesting is the thread of similarity that runs through most ancient cultures.Sumerians speak of a planet within their cosmology called Nibiru (or the great crossing/dividing point).
Too much weird shit in the ancient world to take for granted - such as the Trilithon of the Temple of Jupiter, each stone weighs 1200 tons, yet the largest crane on the planets, only recently developed can lift - and move, 3200 mt. Yet, these "monkies" several thousand years ago rivaled our current technology? Yea, something does not add up...
