Very Inspiring!
Voting was a big thing for me also.
I had a very severe health crisis myself at about the same point in life as you did. It was the beginning of my own awakening which led to my exit from the borg and grabbing life by the short hairs.

Some of the lessons I learned early on in my cancer treatment really helped me begin my purposeful mental departure, too. I no longer had a tolerance for conditional anything.

Glad things going well for you. It is funny how that out of tragedy can come good.
When i lost my brother it changed me alot - he was 36. Then 10y later i lost both parents close together - that changed me alot too and i left the wts and moved in many ways
