i think that most old time JW's are going nuts - I know my mom is slowly but surely losing it. And the part in the KM last night about the new tract was just pathetic. Basically a plea for bible studies.

A couple years back, when I started having doubts, I concluded
that no other elder nearby could answer my questions.
I took a trip to visit an elder I know who is a tech type
for a research lab. He has lots of books on his shelves about
ufo's, advanced physics and so forth.
I described my doubts in detail - he had no answer other than
saying that "it's good to be in the truth".
It became clear to me that he simply is suspending judgement.
He has decided to avoid rationality. He is not alone - countless
elders and ordinary publishers do the same.
If you deliberately avoid rational judgement as an organization,
what future can you have? How can mental health exist if fantasies
are depended on?

I have just had it on good authority that in the UK where the numbers are dropping, the elders, ministerial servants and pioneers are also dropping, but at a faster rate.
