    The answer:

    For each of the 28 "lands" listed, there was less than one baptism per congregation.

    That's right, there are apparently many congregations that for entire 2000 disService Year couldn't produce a single new convert including offspring of JWs.

    LOL...1 baptism.....But they still have to have the circuit assemblies, special assembly days and district conventions....and baptism talks....with only 1 baptised!

    Those of us who were conned into the cult as teenagers or adults know of the "love-bombing" technique employed by the congregation. It is astounding that an entire year of an entire congregation's love-bombing couldn't convince a single person to join.

    Maybe they just can't get any of the public to even attend the meetings and so the love-bombing can't take effect.

    The global average of the baptism to congregation ratio is about 2.8 converts per year. That's an average of more than four months between converts. This is comparable to the typical length of a "successful" bible study, so on the average only one bible study at a time per congregation is having a "positive" effect.
