Eve's creation and how soon the 6th Creative Day ends is speculative, though the circumstances suggest that the 6th Creative Day ended almost immediately after Eve was created, since Eve was quite naieve at the time of Satan's temptation. I guess she hadn't figured out the animals don't talk yet, and the Bible says she was "thoroughly deceived."

What I've always wanted to know is, since Jehovah cursed all women because of Eve's disobedience to suffer labor pains, did Mary suffer labor pains when she birthed Jesus?
Or, did Jehovah spare her that?
And how long did Mary and Joseph wait until they started making whoopie?

I have often wondered the same. I believe God in His mercy spared her the anguish.
From The Message Bible:
Isaiah 66:7 "Before she went into labor,
she had the baby. Before the birth pangs hit,
she delivered a sonSylvia

Not on point, really, but:
Snowbird: I love you to pieces! but I must ask: if God is merciful, why would he continue to visit birth pains on women so many generations down the road, just because of Eve? I would think that mercy would entail the opposite: forgiveness, and not "visiting the sins of the father upon the son"...
Cheers!

It is not so much as God's visiting birth pangs upon women as it is allowing the sin nature to take its course. Eve's taking the forbidden fruit was very presumptuous; the pain and anguish - along with the joy and expectancy - of giving birth would serve as a reminder and a warning to future generations.
In Mary's case, seeing as she so readily agreed to bear the Savior, I believe God intervened and canceled out the painful effects of giving birth.
Isn't that what you would expect Him to do?
OK, flamethrowers, bring it on.

Did he curse all the animals to suffer birth pains?
Something about this whole conception thing doesn't make sense.

Hmmmm ... Jesus must have had quite an interesting-looking DNA strand.
I wonder how many chromosomes he had.

Yes, I have been wondering that also FFM. Even if God did use Mary's ovum and miraculously fixed any imperfections in her DNA, since the ovum has 23 chromosomes and requires sperm with 23 chromosomes to make the entire human complement of 46 found in a human fetus ( and Jesus was human accourding to the Bible) then where did the other 23 chromosomes come from? Does God have sperm? According to the scriptures, spirit creatures must take on human form in order to have sex leading us to believe that they are not capable of sexually reproducing in spirit form. Even if God could miraculously take a full human person and regress their develpment into that of a zygote, how could he do that with a spirit person? Even if he could do that with a spirit person how would he reduce the whole person (human or spirit) from the full 46 chromosomes that make up a whole person into the 23 chromosomes that make up the half that would have merged with Mary's ovum? If any of this actually made sense (which it doesn't), it would make more sense that God didn't use Mary's ovum but simply transformed Jesus whole spirit body into a whole little zygote complete with 46 chromosomes and then implanted it in her womb. Sort of a spiritual in vitro fertilization, if you will. Cog
