The only thing they are going to succeed in doing is to put themselves into the Dark Ages by cutting off all independent thinking. One needs to be as totally independent from external teachings in order to truly understand the Bible (which, if one wasn't programmed with false notions, would actually be fairly simple to understand). Don't feel too bad if you mistook the Bible--even the apostle Paul made this serious mistake, recording it for posterity and making the Bible needlessly difficult to understand.
I would rather be an apostate and freely thinking, making higher integrations, and learning than to be in good standing and functioning at too high a level of naivety. Which means not allowing oneself to integrate one's thinking, and hindering the learning. So what if I get destroyed for it? It only means I get to miss all the stagnant thinking and being told every little thing to do. And missing out on the New Dark Ages.
