I hated "Wait on Jehovah". That was translated to mean not to expect anything good at all, but to still thank that almighty lowlife scumbag. And not show any indignation toward having to wait forever. The "new order". After a while, I saw it as a continuation of the stagnation and excessive rules of now. I now call it the New Dark Ages.

All my life I've really disliked the JW use of the word APOSTATE.

What a piece of manipulating propaganda. Question or take issue with the official WTS dogma du jour and you are instantly morphed into the spawn of Satan. Even listening to an "apostate" can twist your mind and heart into a venom-spewing gargoyle for which there is no hope.

    What garbage.

"Gathering" instead of "party". Why the hell couldn't we have PARTIES like everybody else? And if we couldn't, why was it ok to have them anyway as long as we called them "gatherings"?

Here, we had get-togethers. I really hate that term.

I never liked "Brother" and "Sister" - and not just from the platform when calling on people to comment. When I was a kid I had to call all adults "Brother Smith" or "Sister Jones". And us kids were called "Little Brother" or "Little Sister". Even after we grew up and were adults it was taboo to use first names except with your closest friends.

I grew to hate the word "counsel"...because all it really meant was, "we want to tell you what to do without really coming right out and saying it, so we'll 'counsel' you to make you feel guilty for not doing what we want"
