We seem to do the same, if we can fit it in.

IMHO, you can always find good sushi, seared ahi, or italian food...but not what you get at Canter's. So if I am ANYWHERE in the vicinity...I'm going there.

I haven't been to Pink's...line too long when we drove by. But it still is something to do for sure.

Oh how about Miceli's on La Palma and Hollywood, one of the best Italian restaurants at a pretty good price, I always take out of town guests here.

Is that where the waitstaff sing?

Where is it in relationship to say Highland and Hollywood?

I'll keep that in mind! Thanks.

yes and there is a guy and gal playing the piano, its located East of Highland about 1 mile east, south on La Palma so if your coming down Hollywood from 101 you will make a left on La Palma, be sure to get your parking ticket stamped.

I lived in L.A. for ten years.

My all time, absolute favorite spot is absolutely free!

It isn't any any brochure I've ever seen. It is one of the world's best kept secrets.

It is beautiful, peaceful, extraordinarily photogenic and perfect for an afternoon of quietude and reflection.

Where Sunset Blvd. is about to spill out onto Highway One (Pacific Coast Highway) is where you will find it.

It is to the left just before that intersection. It is an expansive international meditation garden that can't be seen from the street.

    It is hidden!

It has a small lake, flowers, trees, black and white swans, representative shrines from all the world's religions and the ashes of M.Ghandi and Paramahansa Yogananda (among others.)

It is unpretentious. No noise. It always looks deserted.

    IT IS AMAZING!!

Enjoy it. My gift to you!

I sure hope one is missing. It would really kill the vibe.

    Thanks for the tip Terry.

Thanks Terry...will definitely check it out.

Thanks WA for that link, it's bookmarked. Do you know about goldstar.com? I've used that a lot and it's national. I bought Wicked tickets for 1/2 price. I've used them for different things. I found out about them on a Bowl bus; The people on the bus paid half the price of my ticket, in the same area.
